Who are the Australian Cricket

Family andwhy do they get the

chance to buy tickets before they

go on general sale?

The ACF is the free to join official membership

body for cricket fans in Australia. It is a loyalty

based scheme that gives members priority

access to tickets before they go on sale to the

general public.

Can I join the Australian Cricket

Family and get priority tickets?

The answer to this is yes and no. Anyone can join

the Australian Cricket Family (ACF), but only ACF

members based in Australia are eligible for the

priority access to tickets.

To join the ACF go to this website:

How can I find out where the

Barmy Army areas are?

For the 2013/14 Ashes, Cricket Australia

showed the Barmy Army areas on their

online seating maps. We expect this to

be the same this time round. They have

produced really useful venue maps in the

past and will no doubt do so again for The

Ashes –

Where will the Barmy Army

areas be?

We have not had our areas confirmed yet for

2017-18. With the exception of Perth where we

expect to be watching at the new ground, we

expect that the bays will be very similar to 2010-

11 and 2013-14:

• Brisbane

, Sections 30/31,The Southern Stand

• Adelaide

, General Admission - there is no

allocated seating and we typically congregate

under the Scoreboard. For those wanting seats

it was in bay 140 of the Eastern Stand last time.

• Perth

, Section 13 – will probably change, as

test match is likely to be at a new ground

• Melbourne

, M16, Great Southern Stand

• Sydney

, Section 11, Victor Trumper stand
