England’s tour of South Africa concluded on Sunday as they clinched an impressive T20 win at Supersport Park.
Eoin Morgan’s side secured the victory by chasing down a mammoth total of 222 to seal a 2-1 win in a series that had showcased the best of what T20 has to offer.
That brought to an end a tour that started in mid-December and one in which England have come out on top. A Test series win, a drawn ODI series and the T20 success is plenty to be happy about in two months’ work.

Illness, injury, and a determined Proteas side, the Three Lions have had everything thrown at them since arriving in South Africa but have dealt with it all admirably. The players have been well managed during the tour, with Chris Silverwood resting and rotating his men at appropriate times to avoid fatigue.
England have learnt a lot about themselves across all three formats over the last two months and leave a stronger group than they arrived back in December.
All in all, it has been a long tour for Chris Silverwood’s men but it appears to have been a thoroughly enjoyable one, judging from their social media posts.
Here are some of our favourites…

It is a privilege rocking up to work everyday with these lads. Having a common purpose of improving each day. Finally, a big thank you to 🇿🇦 – what a fantastic country and always so good to tour. The public and the media have been terrific to deal with. See you all soon. #Cricket pic.twitter.com/G7GzJhUtt2
