Ben Stokes reveals his 3 worst dressed England teammates

You’d be hard-pressed to find a tighter dressing room in world cricket than England’s at the moment but that doesn’t mean they aren’t willing to poke a bit of fun at their teammates from time to time.

As fans, there’s nothing we love more than a bit of insight into what goes on when they’re not out on the middle, and Test skipper Ben Stokes has been more than happy to oblige.

Speaking to ECB media as part of his ‘My Top Threes’, Stokesy was asked to dish the dirt on his three worst-dressed teammates.

He said: “Joe Root. He’s dressed the same for the last eight years.

“Zak Crawley is 23 but he dresses like he’s 56 and has never seen anything but a loafer, pair of chinos, and a Ralph Lauren shirt – wherever he goes.

“Jofra Archer wears Manchester United football shirts with ‘Archer 22’ on the back out for dinner.”

We’ll certainly be keeping our eyes on Rooty, Jof and Creepy from now on to see some evidence!
