The Barmy Army’s 30th Anniversary
2025 marks a major milestone: 30 years of the Barmy Army! From a few backpackers cheering England at the Adelaide Oval to becoming a globally recognised cricket organisation. Our return to Australia later this year for the Ashes, with an estimated 10,000 Barmy Army members travelling down under, highlights the hard work put in over the years.
To celebrate our 30th Anniversary, we’re hosting a spectacular anniversary dinner at our spiritual home, Edgbaston, on the 28th of March, 2025. Special guest Mark Wood has already been confirmed, but in true Barmy style, more surprises are yet to come. Prepare for an unforgettable night filled with cricketing stories, delicious food and drinks, and, of course, some singing!

The Barmy Army Fans World Cup in Sri Lanka
Get ready for the return of the Fans World Cup in April, an epic T10 cricket tournament where amateur cricketers and supporter groups from around the world battle it out – with plenty of laughs along the way. Forget professional skills; this is all about passion, teamwork, and the love of the game.

India Test Series
Few rivalries are as intense as England vs India, and this summer’s five-Test series promises to deliver fireworks. After the 2021-22 series concluded in a dramatic 2-2 draw, India aims to prove a point, while Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum promise entertainment. Expect thrilling action, world-class performances, and plenty of Test match moments to savour.
The series will take place from June to August and is sure to be the highlight of the summer. You can join the Barmy Army at all five Test venues, making it the perfect opportunity to soak up the best of the atmosphere.
A Return to Lord’s
In 2024, we proudly offered our members official allocations for Test matches at Lord’s for the very first time – and what a success it was! Now, with India as the opposition and the excitement building, 2025 promises to be even bigger.
