Get into the full festive spirit Down Under with our Adelaide and Melbourne Travel Package with international flights. Relax and take in all of the Christmas festivities with peace of mind knowing that everything will be arranged for you.

On arrival to Adelaide, you and your fellow travel members will gather for arrival drinks with your Tour Manager to really get in the spirit ahead of the 3rd Test. You’ll also experience the Pre-Test Party which includes our famous Barmy Bingo event – it is an epic party night – you’ll meet with like-minded fans, sing the songs, and have a chance to win some amazing prizes.

You will join the action at a crucial moment in the series at the Adelaide Oval – with match tickets in the Barmy Army section you’ll be in the stands soaking up the incredible atmosphere the Barmy Army are known for. After the Test, you’ll enjoy the Post-Test Party to celebrate an epic win by England Down Under. You’ll have a day of leisure to explore Adelaide before your transfer and internal flight to Melbourne arriving on 23 December ready to enjoy Christmas in Melbourne.

Christmas Day will be totally unique this year as you dine with your fellow Barmy Army Members for Christmas Lunch – expect a fantastic lunch, drinks and plenty of Christmas entertainment. You’ll then witness the 4th Test of the Series at the MCG. This package ensures a seamless, unforgettable experience taking in two Ashes Test Matches and Two vibrant cities.

This package includes New Years Eve in Melbourne, and there will be the option to book an exclusive Barmy Army New Years Eve Party to welcome in 2026 before flying back to the UK.

At the conclusion of the Tour, you’ll fly back to the UK having experienced your bucket list dreams with memories to last a lifetime.

You don’t need to have everyone’s details immediately, but please provide Passport Number, Expiry date and country of issue within a week of booking in order to guarantee your trip.

The lead person on the booking must be 18 or older. We’ll also need a postal address, phone number, email address, and payment details for them.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Sunday, 14th December: Depart UK

The day has arrived! Make your own way to the airport, check in, drop your bags off, and pass through customs to board your flight to Adelaide.

Day 2 – Monday, 15th December: Arrive in Adelaide

When you arrive in Adelaide, collect your bags and head to the Barmy Army Transfer, which will take you directly to your hotel, where you’ll check in with your fellow Travel Members. Relax and unwind, then head to our Welcome Drinks Reception hosted by your experienced Tour Manager. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know the other Travel Members in your group.

Day 3 – Tuesday, 16th December: Day at leisure in Adelaide

Explore the sights of Adelaide and everything it has to offer. Your Tour Manager can provide details of places of interest and any recommendations they have. Head out into the City to explore in your own time or go with the group to the top attractions.

In the evening, join fellow Travel Members and Barmy Army supporters for entertainment at our Pre-Test Party to celebrate the start of a monumental Test match.

Day 4-8 – Wednesday, 17th December – Sunday, 21st December: 3rd Test Match in Adelaide

Adelaide welcomes you to a world-class cricketing stage. Enjoy five thrilling days of Ashes action at the picturesque Adelaide Oval. At the end of each day’s play, you’ll head to the official Barmy Army HQ or back to your hotel, ready for the next.

You might like a break from cricket during this period, so there will be plenty of options for things to do beyond the boundary in Adelaide!

Day 9 – Monday, 22nd December: Day at leisure in Adelaide

After an epic Test match win, you might want to take things steady today, wander around the city, and visit the last places you’d like to tick off before your flight home.

Day 10 – Tuesday, 23rd December: Fly to Melbourne

It’s time to fly to Melbourne for a Barmy Christmas! Your airport transfer will pick you up from the hotel for your flight to Melbourne.

When you arrive in Melbourne, collect your bags and head to the Barmy Army Transfer. The transfer will take you to your hotel, where you’ll check in with your fellow Travel Members.

Day 11 – Wednesday, 24th December: Day at leisure in Melbourne

It’s time to explore some of the sights of Melbourne and all it has to offer. Did you know Melbourne was voted the best city in the world?! Your Tour Manager can provide details of places of interest and any recommendations they have. Head out into the City to explore in your own time or go with the group to the top attractions.

Day 12 – Thursday, 25th December: Christmas Day Event in Melbourne

It’s a Christmas Day like no other! Even though you’re Down Under, we’ll ensure you feel the festive spirit. Included in your package is the famous Barmy Army Christmas Lunch. You’ll wine and dine with your fellow Travel Members, with all the traditional elements – songs, crackers, Santa, bingo, and much more.

Day 13-17 – Friday, 26th – Tuesday 30th December: 4th Test Match in Melbourne

It’s the ultimate cricket bucket list experience – the Boxing Day Test at the MCG. Each day, you’ll head to the MCG with your Tour group and into the stands, ready to sing Jerusalem. At the end of each day’s play, you head to the official Barmy Army HQ or back to your hotel, ready for the next day.

You might like a break from cricket during this period, so there will be plenty of options for things to do beyond the boundary in Melbourne!

Day 18 – Wednesday, 31st December: Day at leisure & NYE Event in Melbourne

After watching the fourth Test of the Series, it’s now New Year’s Eve. You’ll have a day of leisure, you can explore more of Melbourne in your own time or stay with the group. Then as the evening draws in, head to our Barmy Army New Year’s Eve Event! Celebrate and party all night to see in 2026 Down Under!

Day 19 – Thursday, 1st January: Day at leisure in Melbourne

It’s January 1st, 2026, a brand new year. After the most epic night, you might want to take things steady today, wander around the city, and visit the last places you’d like to tick off before your flight home.

Day 20 – Friday, 2nd January: Depart Melbourne

Your Tour has unfortunately come to an end. It’s time to say your goodbyes and take your transfer to the airport, where you’ll check in and board your flight back to the UK.
