The Stadium
There’s few sporting venues in the world that change you. But a day at the MCG will get underneath your skin and have you needing England to win. It’s boisterous. It’s intense. It’s the perfect location to watch two rivals battle it out in one of the most iconic rivalries our sport has. Whilst England have seen some challenging days here, few will forget Day One in 2010 when the Aussies were skittled and Cook and Strauss battled the day out. Make sure you’re there to witness another chapter of history at the ‘G’ in 2025.
There are two train stations close to the MCG. Jolimont (otherwise known as MCG station) is north of the ground and offers a five-minute stroll through Yarra Park to the ground. From any railway station in the central business district, take the Hurstbridge or Epping lines.
