In the ODI series between England and Australia, Australia secured early victories, winning two of the first three matches. England bounced back with a strong performance in the fourth ODI to level the series. The final and deciding match at Bristol, however, saw Australia claim the series 3-2 via the DLS method, after rain disrupted the game, giving Australia the edge in the final overs and the overall series win.
