Post Office x Barmy Army – Terms and Conditions 

Applicable from 13th November 2025 through to 8th January 

  1. The Post Office Travel Money Card Offer is being promoted by Barmy Army, registered Office, 12-14 Lordsmill Street, Chesterfield, England, S41 7RW in conjunction with Post Office Limited, registered Office, 100 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7ER and First Rate Exchange Services Limited.  First Rate Exchange Services is a Bank of Ireland/Post Office joint venture company registered in England and Wales. Company Registration number: 04287490. Registered Office: Botanica, Ditton Park, Riding Ct Rd, Datchet, SL3 9LL (Financial Services Register No. 900412).

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully as participation in the Offer is deemed as your acceptance of these.

Throughout these Terms and Conditions, you will see some of the below terms:

1.1. ‘Promoters’ Barmy Army & Post Office Limited.

1.2 ‘Offer’ 50 Australian dollars loaded to your Travel Money Card.

1.3 ‘Promotional Period’ 13th November 2025 through to 8th January 2026.

  1. This Offer is open to residents of United Kingdom aged 18 or over except employees of Post Office Limited, Post Office postmasters, First Rate Exchange Services Limited, their families, agents of employees or postmasters who work in Post Office branches or anyone professionally connected with the Offer.
  1. To be eligible for this Offer you must have an active Travel Money Card, opened and/or topped up via the Post Office website or via the Post Office Travel app. The Travel Money Card holder must also register their details on the Barmy Army website with the same details used to open their Travel Money Card, here. 
  1. This Offer is not available to new card purchases or top ups made via the Post Office Branch network. 
  1. As a Travel Money Card holder, you must load a minimum of 1,000 Australian dollars onto your Travel Money Card, whether in a single transaction or multiple top-ups within the Promotional Period.
  1. All Australian dollar loads must be loaded onto one Travel Money Card per Travel Money Card holder to receive the Offer. For example, if you have two Travel Money Cards and load 1000 Australian dollars between the two, you will not qualify for the offer.  
  1. For new Travel Money Card customers, entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions set out in clauses 2 to 5 and all identification, address verification and anti-money laundering checks have been completed successfully at the time of purchase. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse an entry at any time during the Offer period.
  1. The Offer will be loaded onto the Travel Money Card within 14 business days of the minimum load requirement being reached. 
  2. The Offer will be added to the Australian dollar wallet of the Travel Money Card with the option to transfer to a different currency via the Post Office Travel app or Post Office website.
  1. The Promoter, and any of its partners, does not take any responsibility for incomplete registration forms or any applications that are incorrect, lost, delayed, or otherwise not received for any reason, including technical interruption, fault, or website failure. Such entries will be deemed invalid.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Offer without notice where it becomes necessary to do so as a result of; actions beyond our reasonable control; a legal or regulatory issue; a systems failure; or the failure by any third party to perform services. If this happens, the Promoter will notify customers by placing a notice in Post Office branches and on its website as soon as practically possible afterwards. 
  1. The Promoter may cancel, suspend, and amend this Offer at any time if there is reasonable justification to do so, by giving reasonable notice on its website. 
  1. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Offer is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  1. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, entrants’ consent to the processing and transfer of their personal data to the Promoters, First Rate Exchange Services Ltd (who operate the Post Office Travel Money Card) and Barmy Army for the purposes of the administration of this Offer. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions. 
  1. By participating in this Offer, you agree to release, discharge, and hold us harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this Offer to the fullest extent permitted by law (save that nothing shall limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence). 
  1. These terms and conditions can be extended, withdrawn, amended, substituted or cancelled at any time if there is reasonable justification to do so. 
  1. These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with them (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
  1. These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.
  1. These terms and conditions provide information about how we use your personal data for the purposes of running the Offer and needs to be read together with the main Post Office Privacy Policy at postoffice.co.uk/privacy. We collect your first name, surname email address, date of birth and postcode. Your information will not be transferred or accessed outside of the UK/EEA. We use this data to assess your eligibility for the Offer, to administer the Offer and to produce anonymised statistics. By providing your details and agreeing to the terms and conditions, you are consenting to the use of your personal information for these purposes.   2. Post Office Travel Money Card is an electronic money product issued by First Rate Exchange Services Ltd pursuant to license by Mastercard International. First Rate Exchange Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with number 4287490 whose registered office is Botanica, Ditton Park, Riding Ct Rd, Datchet, SL3 9LL (Financial Services Register No. 900412).
