Derbyshire County Cricket Club and the Barmy Army have renewed their partnership, giving Members and supporters even more opportunities to experience England international cricket. The partnership, which aims to maximise support for all and make following England as enjoyable as possible, was launched ahead of the 2025 season and proved a great success, with 50 Barmy Army Memberships given away to supporters.
The Barmy Army are the world-famous England supporters’ club, following the team home and away and creating a fantastic atmosphere at every game with their inventive songs and familiar trumpet. As part of Derbyshire’s extensive Membership+ offering, all Members, including Life Members, who purchase or renew their membership before the Early Bird Deadline on Saturday 31 January, will be entered into a draw to win a Barmy Army Membership worth £45. There will also be further opportunities to win Barmy Army Memberships during the T20 Super Early Bird ticket window, while the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation will again be distributing a number of Junior Barmy Army Memberships to help grow the game across the county and inspire the next generation of Derbyshire and England supporters.
A Barmy Army Membership includes priority access to England home international tickets, as well as unique opportunities to represent the Barmy Army Cricket Club at venues around the world. Members also receive rewards and discounts with more than 100 top brands, including Nike, Halfords, and Alton Towers, and become part of a passionate global community of loyal England cricket fans.
Derbyshire’s Head of Marketing & Communications, Tom Skinner, said: “We’re pleased to be working with the Barmy Army once again in 2026. We’re always looking for fresh ways to give our Members more, and our supporters have really enjoyed this added benefit. In 2026, there are more Membership+ perks than ever before, at no extra cost.
“Exclusive events throughout the winter mean we can stay connected with our Members through the off-season, while reciprocal offers and partnerships such as this one mean there’s more sport to enjoy next summer.”
Barmy Army’s Head of Marketing, Chloe Dunn, said: “We are thrilled to renew our partnership with Derbyshire County Cricket Club. Bringing two iconic names in the game together again allows us to continue enhancing the experience for our loyal members.
