PERTH
NOVEMBER 21-25, 2025
Welcome to Perth – where the Ashes adventure beings! It all kicks off in style in Australia’s sunniest city and the gateway to an unforgettable cricketing experience together.
BRISBANE
DECEMBER 4-8, 2025
We move to Brisbane where all eyes will be on The Gabba. This is the Day/Night Test set under the lights with a pink ball – the Barmy Army will be in full voice.
ADELAIDE
DECEMBER 17-21, 2025
The 3rd Test takes place at the Adelaide Oval – the birthplace of the Barmy Army. A picturesque cricket ground with plenty to do and explore around the city.
MELBOURNE
DECEMBER 26-30, 2025
The bucket-lister – the Boxing Day Test! The MCG is the largest cricket venue in Australia, seating over 100,000 and is one of the most iconic cricket stadiums in the world.
SYDNEY
JANUARY 4-8, 2026
Finally, the New Year’s Eve Test at the SCG. After one of the best NYE celebrations of your life, attention turns to the fifth and final Test of the Series.

Ashes 2025/26 FAQs – Everything You Need to Know
How will I make new friends on the Ashes tour?
If you’ve booked an escorted tour, our friendly team of Tour Managers will help the tour group bond, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to socialise and make new friends. You’ll also have the option to join the tour WhatsApp group, where social plans are made. If you’ve booked a hotel and ticket package, we recommend booking our pre-test event, Barmy Bingo, and visiting our HQs to meet your fellow Barmy Army Travel Members.
Will there be any events pre/post Test & where? How do I purchase event tickets?
Yes, we have a wide range of events throughout the tour, including Barmy Bingo, Charity Parties, Christmas Day celebrations, and New Year’s Eve celebrations. Further details will be coming soon.
How do I redeem my Priority Access Pass or Pre-Payment Plan?
Your voucher code is sent when you purchase the Pass or Plan. You can enter it at the checkout page before you make a payment. If you are unable to find your code, please call us on 01932770077, and our customer service team can help.
Can I buy an escorted tour with the Barmy Army for the Ashes without flights?
Yes! We will also offer all tours without flights. However, if you buy without flights, you won’t receive international airport transfers.
Can I buy a Barmy Army Travel package if I don’t live in the UK?
Yes, we welcome anyone who wants to join! Browse our packages and book your chosen tour online.
How can I avoid the single supplement for the Ashes?
For the Ashes, we have a dedicated Solo Traveller group to help you find the perfect match for your tour. Click here to join. If you don’t have a match already, we can help!
The Pairing Process: Once we receive your details, our team will carefully review your request and connect you with a suitable travel partner who has selected the same package and matches your preferences.
After confirming your match, we’ll process your booking using the details provided. Each of you will receive a separate payment link to ensure privacy and security—there is no need to share any card details.
How can I upgrade my flight for the Ashes?
Due to the flights being out of range when we go on sale, we can’t provide accurate information about upgrade costs. Therefore we’ve added a question during your booking journey to allow you to express interest in a flight upgrade. If you’ve selected yes to this question, we will be in touch with options.
How do I request a bespoke package for the Ashes?
If you’re looking to book a further holiday, we can accommodate flight changes. However, if you’re looking to book a hotel and excursions for your trip, please contact your local Hays Branch, where they can arrange this for you in partnership with the Barmy Army.
Do I need a visa to travel to Australia?
Entry into Australia:

Passport Validity:
To enter Australia, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date you plan to leave Australia. If you’re transiting through another country on your way to or from Australia, ensure you meet that country’s entry requirements, as some require at least 6 months of passport validity.
You may be denied entry if your passport is expired, has been reported lost or stolen, or does not meet the validity requirement.
Visa Requirements:
All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa or travel authority. Most short-term visitors can apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) or an eVisitor visa depending on your nationality.
