The Barmy Army is thrilled to announce a renewed partnership with TNT Sports ahead of the 2025/26 Ashes Series in Australia.
This exciting collaboration will see the Barmy Army team up again with TNT Sports to create a fan experience unlike anything before. Expect exclusive behind-the-scenes content, live fan interactions, social media collaborations, as well as coverage of all the songs, chants, and colour that make the Barmy Army such a unique part of cricket culture and so synonymous with The Ashes. Together, TNT Sports and The Barmy Army will bring England fans closer to the action, whether they’re in the stands in Australia, or watching every ball from home.
Moreover, TNT Sports will be the official sponsor of ‘Finchy’, the Barmy Army Trumpeter, for the duration of the series, whilst also enjoying prime position as the lead sponsor of Barmy Army’s official merchandise that will be sold across all of Australia during the tour and be front and centre of the fan experience on a matchday.
“The Barmy Army has always been about more than just supporting England on the pitch – it’s about creating an atmosphere, a sense of community, and a shared love of the game that brings cricket to life,” said Adam Canning, Barmy Army Commercial & Operations Director.
“Partnering with TNT Sports is a thrilling opportunity for us. Their expertise, reach, and commitment to delivering world-class cricket coverage means we can share the Barmy Army experience with millions of fans back home in a way that’s never been done before.
“We’re truly grateful to be working with a partner who shares our passion for the game and understands the importance of connecting fans to the action.”

TNT Sports, which holds exclusive UK broadcast rights to the 2025/26 Ashes Series, will deliver live ball-by-ball coverage, highlights, expert analysis, and digital storytelling across its platforms including discovery+. Presenter Becky Ives will be on-the-ground in Australia throughout the series where she will be joined by Sir Alastair Cook, Graeme Swann and Steven Finn across the five Tests.
Becky Ives, TNT Sports presenter, said: “There’s nothing quite like an Ashes Series in Australia, and I’m really excited to be part of TNT Sports’ on site presentation team bringing all the action to English fans this winter. We want everyone to feel like they’re right there with the supporters and give everyone watching at home the most real, exciting experience possible – capturing the passion you feel at every Test.
“That’s why it’s amazing that TNT Sports is teaming up with the Barmy Army, who are such a huge part of English cricket. Together, we’ll bring all the energy and atmosphere from Down Under straight to fans back home, keeping everyone entertained from the first ball to the very last Test.”
With the Barmy Army on board, fans can expect a unique blend of world-class broadcasting and authentic supporter culture across social media.
The 2025/26 Ashes promises to be a tour to remember — and with TNT Sports and the Barmy Army joining forces, it’s set to be the most fan-focused Ashes yet.
