The tour kicks off at the iconic Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on the stunning Island of Antigua, before heading onto the Kensington Oval, in Barbados. The two sides will meet in Antigua for the 1st & 2nd ODI's of the series, before an ODI & a T20 in Barbados

While enjoying the delights of the local food stalls and relaxing in the wonderful weather, you can discover plenty about the picturesque island of Antigua and iconic island of Barbados, with a number of days at your leisure in between the cricket. This trip to the island provides the perfect combination of a holiday set against a cricketing backdrop.

Before you travel:

After booking you'll receive a booking confirmation. Have a read of the important information.

Approximately 3 weeks before the trip starts we'll be in touch with your final documentation. This will include your final flight times, ticket info and any more helpful bits of advice you may need.

Time to get excited.

Wednesday 29th November:

On arrival in Antigua, once you’ve passed customs and immigration, you will make your own way to the hotel to be greeted by your Barmy Army Travel Tour Manager for a 8-night stay.

Check in is usually around 3pm, but don’t worry if you’re there before, the hotel will store your bags, so you can head straight out. 

Your Barmy Army reps will also be around if you have any questions.

Thursday 30th November:

Full day at leisure to enjoy Antigua. Optional excursion options will be provided closer to the time.

A day to get used to your surroundings and acclimatise.

Friday 01st December:

Full day at leisure.

Saturday 02nd December:

Full day at leisure.

Sunday 03rd December:

01st ODI - West Indies v England.

Following breakfast, transfer to the Sir Vivian Richards Stradium for the first ODI of the series.

After the game, transfer back to your hotel.

Monday 04th December:

Full day at leisure. Optional excursion options will be provided closer to the time. 

Tuesday 05th December:

Full day at leisure. Optional excursion options will be provided closer to the time. 

Wednesday 06th December:

02nd ODI - West Indies v England.

After breakfast transfer to the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium for the second ODI of the series. Your coach will transfer from the hotel to the ground and then return after the day of play.

Thursday 07th December

Today, transfer to V. C. Bird International Airport for your flight to Barbados. On arrival, transfer to your chosen hotel for a 6-night stay. 

Friday 08th December

Full day at leisure. Optional excursion options will be provided closer to the time. 

Saturday 09th December

03rd ODI - West Indies v England.

Following breakfast, transfer to the Kensington Oval for the 03rd & final ODI of the series. 

After the game, transfer back to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the night. 

Sunday 10th December

Full day at leisure. Optional excursion options will be provided closer to the time. 

Monday 11th December

Full day at leisure. Optional excursion options will be provided closer to the time. 

Tuesday 12th December

01st T20I - West Indies v England.

After breakfast & a morning at leisure, transfer to the Kensington Oval for the 1st T20I of the series. Your coach will transfer from the hotel to the ground and then return after the day of play.

Wednesday 13th December

After breakfast the day is yours to enjoy.

 

Thursday 14th December

After a great break, sadly it’s time to head home.

You'll make your own way to the airport for your return flight, having had a great trip!

Things we think you should know

Entry into Antigua & Barbados

As of 26 August Antigua and Barbuda and Barbados have removed all COVID-19-related restrictions (e.g. proof of vaccination / testing) for passengers arriving by air. 

Passengers who display symptoms of COVID-19 on arrival may be isolated as determined by the Antigua and Barbuda health authorities.

Passport validity

If you are visiting Antigua and Barbuda or Barbados your passport should be valid for six months from the date you arrive.

Visas

British Passport holders don’t need a visa to visit Antigua and Barbuda or Barbados

On entry, you’ll be granted a specified period to stay. If you wish to stay longer, you must apply and pay for an extension of stay through the Antigua and Barbuda or Barbados Immigration Department.

It’s an offence to overstay the entry period or to work without a work permit.
