Dive into the Ashes with the Barmy Army’s Brisbane & Adelaide Package!
Experience the Day/Night Test at The Gabba and the Christmas Test at the Adelaide Oval. On arrival in Brisbane, you and your fellow Travel Members will meet your Tour Manager and enjoy Welcome Drinks to help you settle into your new Aussie lifestyle. You’ll also experience the Pre-Test Party which includes our famous Barmy Bingo event – it is an epic party night – you’ll meet with like-minded fans, sing the songs, and have a chance to win some amazing prizes.
You’ll be immersed into the Ashes action in the iconic Gabba. With match tickets in the Barmy Army section you’ll be in the stands soaking up the incredible atmosphere the Barmy Army are known for. After the Test, you’ll enjoy the Post-Test Party to celebrate an epic win by England Down Under. While we’re in Brisbane, we’ll explore the beautiful Gold Coast, including Surfers Paradise, to make the most of your time Down Under.
We’ll then take a transfer to an internal flight to Adelaide ready for the 3rd Test Match of the Series. You’ll then watch England at The Adelaide Oval for the Christmas Test. This package ensures a seamless, unforgettable experience taking in two Ashes Test Matches and Two vibrant cities.

Book with peace of mind knowing your trip is protected. For all travellers joining us in Australia, we’ll need the following details:
- Full name (as it appears on the passport)
- Date of birth
- Passport information
You don’t need to have everyone’s details immediately, but please provide Passport Number, Expiry date and country of issue within a week of booking in order to guarantee your trip.
The lead person on the booking must be 18 or older. We’ll also need a postal address, phone number, email address, and payment details for them.

Tour Itinerary
- Day 1 – Tuesday, 2nd December: Arrive in Brisbane
Make your own way to Brisbane and join your tour group. Relax and unwind before attending our Welcome Drinks Reception hosted by your experienced Tour Manager. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know the other Travel Members in your group.
- Day 2 – Wednesday, 3rd December: Day at leisure in Brisbane
After waking up in the sunniest capital city in Australia, it’s time to explore the sights Brisbane offers. Your Tour Manager can provide details of places of interest and any recommendations they have. Head out into the City to explore on your own or go with the group to the top attractions.
In the evening, join fellow Travel Members and Barmy Army supporters for entertainment at our Pre-Test Party to celebrate the start of the Day/Night Test.
- Day 3-7 – Thursday, 4th December – Monday, 8th December: 2nd Test Match in Brisbane
Brace yourself for the unforgettable Day/Night Test at The Gabba. As the stadium lights up, so do the Barmy Army – get ready for five days of world-class cricketing action. At the end of each day’s play, you’ll head to the official Barmy Army HQ or back to your hotel, ready for the next.
You might like a break from cricket during this period, so there will be plenty of options for things to do beyond the boundary in Brisbane!
- Day 8 – Tuesday, 9th December: Day at leisure in Brisbane
After an epic Test match win, you might want to take things steady today, wander around the city, and visit the last places you’d like to see before continuing your Ashes adventure.
- Day 9-11 – Wednesday, 10th December – Friday, 12th December: Transfer by coach to Gold Coast
Swap cricket for the coastal charm of the Gold Coast. Your Barmy Army transfer will take you to your 3-night stay at Surfers Paradise, in the heart of Queensland’s Gold Coast. Discover one of Australia’s most famous destinations and explore its lively beachside city.
- Day 12-13 – Saturday, 13th December – Sunday, 14th December: Transfer to Sanctuary Cove Intercontinental, Gold Coast
After spending a few days at the seaside resort, your Barmy Army Transfer will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Sanctuary Cove Intercontinental for a two-night stay. Relax at the elegant five-star resort and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.
- Day 14 – Monday, 15th December: Fly to Adelaide
It’s time to fly to Adelaide! Your airport transfer will pick you up from the hotel for your flight to Adelaide.
When you arrive in Adelaide, collect your bags and head to the Barmy Army Transfer. The transfer will take you to your hotel, where you’ll check in with your fellow Travel Members.
- Day 15 – Tuesday, 16th December: Day at leisure in Adelaide
It’s time to discover the highlights of Adelaide. Your Tour Manager can provide details of places of interest and any recommendations they have. Explore the City on your own or go with the group to the top attractions.
In the evening, join fellow Travel Members and Barmy Army supporters for entertainment at our Pre-Test Party to celebrate the start of a monumental Test match.
- Day 16-20 – Wednesday, 17th December – Sunday, 21st December: 3rd Test Match in Adelaide
Adelaide welcomes you to a world-class cricketing stage. Enjoy five thrilling days of Ashes action at the picturesque Adelaide Oval. At the end of each day’s play, you’ll head to the official Barmy Army HQ or back to your hotel, ready for the next.

- Day 21 – Monday, 22nd December: Depart Adelaide
Your Tour has unfortunately come to an end. It’s time to say your goodbyes and make your own onward journey.
