It all ends here - the historic Sydney Cricket Ground. Nearly 200 years old, the famous green pavilion in the Aussie capital is the backdrop for the conclusion of the Ashes series.
Off the pitch, be the first to celebrate 2026 on Sydney harbour-front at our New Year’s Eve party. Example Itinerary for a week in Sydney
Here's how a week in Melbourne with Barmy Army Travel might look in the Ashes 2025/26. This can be either by itself or as part of one of our several packages as seen above.
Day 1 - Arrive in Sydney
Regardless if you are just joining us in Sydney or have come from Melbourne, our rep will be there to greet you at the airport and usher you onto your transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 - Explore Sydney
Take in one of the world's most breathtaking capitals and see all the famous sights like the Opera House and Harbour.
Day 3 - New Year’s Eve Party
See in 2026 before anyone else in the world at one of the biggest NYE parties of your life!
Day 4-8 - The Pink Test at the SCG
Here we go, it's game on in Sydney. Your official Ashes tickets in the Barmy Army section, a bespoke tour shirt and transfers to and from the ground are all included. Just get Jerusalem ready to go in your head!
Day 9 - Day at Leisure
Take a boat trip through Sydney to toast the trip of a lifetime or chill out in your hotel.
Day 10 - Travel Day
Your time in Sydney and Australia is complete. Either fly home or join us on a tour extension to either another part of Aus or another country on the way home. Our bespoke travel partner Hays will have you sorted!
