Official Charity Partner - The ACE Programme

• We have announced the ACE Programme as our Official Charity Partner!
  
  
• The charity was launched by Surrey County Cricket Club in January 2020 in response to the decline of black professional players by 75%. Less than 1% of the recreational game is made up of black cricketers.

The Ruth Strauss Foundation

• Throughout 2021 and 2022, we raised over £17,000 for the Ruth Strauss Foundation. The charity was set up following the tragic death of ex-England captain Sir Andrew Strauss' wife from rare lung cancer in 2018.
  
  
• As well as raising funds, we gave lots of digital support to the charity on their big annual fundraising day, #RedForRuth (despite us not being allowed in at Lord's!). Our ex-pat communities in Australia also contributed greatly throughout the Ashes with their own events and fundraising activities.

Barmy Army raise A$65,000 for PCA Professional Cricketers’ Trust

• This sensational fundraising was part of the Professional Cricketers’ Association’s Legacy Year Appeal which was set-up to raise money for the PCA Professional Cricketers’ Trust in the PCA’s 50th anniversary.
  
  
• On the third day of every Ashes Test during the 2017/18 series, the Barmy Army arranged events to raise funds for the charity which supports players – past and present – and their immediate family members in their hour of need.
  
  The charity helps with medical advice, funding for operations, care and assistance whilst being proactive on education initiatives on health and wellbeing matters.
