Barmy Army joins forces with ACE Programme as Official Charity Partner
We are delighted to be working with the ACE Programme. The charity was launched by Surrey County Cricket Club in 2020 in response to the decline of black British professional players by 75%, and less than 1% of the recreational game.
We will support the programme by raising awareness of the core beliefs of ACE: developing talent pathways, providing elite academy programmes, workforce development & its vision to inspire the wider game to support reconnecting with the Black community.
We will also be raising valuable funds for the organisation to carry out its amazing work! Beyond our usual fundraising parties and online initiatives, here is how we intend to do this:
