The England tour to India in 2024 is going to be epic…
England will be looking to get off to a flying start in the historical Hyderabad, known as the City of Pearls. Already billed as the biggest test of ‘BazBall’ to date, the mouthwatering prospect of England playing their new brand of cricket in one of the toughest touring destinations on the roster will come to fruition.
With England 1-0 up, the show then moves onto the increasingly popular local tourist destination of Vizag - set on the stunning backdrop of the Bay of Bengal. The contrasting nature of the first two destinations is the perfect microcosm of Indian culture.
Onto Rajkot, the site of a historical England series win as the Indian team have been devoured in the first two tests. Sing Jerusalem in the stunning Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium and enjoy the hustle and bustle of another Indian city.
Next up, Ranchi. Known as the City of Waterfalls, there is some stunning water features making it a popular tourist city.
The tour then culminates in one of the most epic Test grounds in the world. Nestled at the foot of the Himalayas, Dharamsala is truly iconic. A Test match surrounded by an iconic mountain mountain range, the 5th Test is unmissable.
Historical, picturesque and friendly - India is also a natural paradise and gastronomic heaven. Relish cuisine that’s exported around the world in its birthplace and enjoy local delicacies, whether that’s on the street or fine dining. There’s so much to see and do in India as well. Just grabbing a bite to eat in the city is an experience in itself but you’ll also be able to take in one of the 7 man made wonders of the world at the Taj Mahal.
